24 inches by 30 inches, archival acrylics on stretched canvas, ready to hang.

Inspiration captured during their first look, painted at their ceremony as if it happened there and continued painting at their reception for live entertainment. Finished within 3-5 hours and handed over prior to Jacob's departure to you or a loved one of choice (or often given to an event planner that is already gathering items for the bride and groom).

This package, faces of the bride and groom (or VIPs) need to be at least 2-3 inches or more in height. Sizes 24x30, 24x36, or 30x40 are available and choice of the painting being vertical or horizontal. Each size allows for less and more and the larger the more time required.

For additional compensation, Jacob will gladly include an ornate frame. Although Jacob has the preference of the style of frame depending on availability, he give you the choice of a general color to better harmonize with your existing decor from: black, gold, or silver.

If you do not live locally to Jacob, he can happily have your painting professionally packaged, shipped and insured to your preferred address (within the continental United States).

Cocktail Hour Wedding Painting

This painting was unique in that the bride was having her cocktail hour and reception at her parents' home, so providing photos ahead of time of the setting and requesting to have the painting created ahead of time and while at the cocktail hour to paint the couple into the scene in only 1 hour. Handed over before departure.

Impressionistic Oil Painting of a Wedding Ceremony

24 inches by 36 inches, archival oils on stretched canvas, ready to hang.

This painting was started at their ceremony and finished at their reception, handed over before departure. This was painted with rich oil paints. This package allows for many figures, best depicting the hustle and bustle of a moment, with strong representational aspects in the design, being proportional and perspective being accurate, whereas the figures are recognizable by their shapes and colors, while being faceless and simplistic. This option captures the essence of an event.

This is also a great option for corporate events and a variety of parties where there is not a particular person of honor but a crowd of VIPs or honored guests.

This package allows for smaller sizes since the painting will be simplified and there are no particular face size requirements. Sizes 16x20, 20x24, 22x28, 24x30, 24x36, and 30x40 are available and choice of the painting being vertical or horizontal. Each size allows for less and more and the larger the more time required.

Frequently Asked Questions

Date Availability? Currently Jacob is only accepting date requests, to reserve the obligation to paint one event per day, for a limited amount of available dates through the end of December 2026.

Where does Jacob travel to? Travel fee? Based in Sarasota, Florida, Jacob travels throughout Florida, the United States and worldwide. If an event is more than a 2 hour drive (one way), a travel fee will start with $500 and upwards of $3,000 plus for international travel.

What is the process for hiring Jacob to paint at my wedding or event? If you are ready to book Jacob you are encouraged to complete a "Live Painting Inquiry Form" located below, which will give Jacob the needed details to create a contract and invoice for you to review and complete. Requests that are not properly filled out (incomplete address and or not full names provided) will not be responded to. Thank you in advance. Jacob will email you as soon as he is able. He avoids "automation" and prefers the personable touch of writing to you personally, so please be patient for his response. Allow for longer response times on weekends (when he is busiest). Thank you for your patience in advance. If Jacob is available on your date, and if you want to move forward with saving him for your date, Jacob will create a digital time-sensitive contract and invoice for you to complete (mentioned above). Once the contract is signed, dated by you & him and the invoice's deposit is successfully paid then Jacob will officially be saving your date from other booking requests!

Is Jacob licensed and or insured? Jacob under the business name "Jacob Event Painting" is a recognized LLC with the state of Florida that is in good standing. If required by a venue, Jacob can provide a COI (certificate of insurance) to a venue that requires it upon entering their premises. Jacob would be glad to do so after a client officially hires him (not before) emailed to the client's contact at the venue directly, with them informing Jacob how to populate a COI specifically to their needs.

Is a deposit necessary for Jacob to save my date? Are deposits non-refundable? A required deposit of at least $1,070 or up to 50% of the total amount will be due upon booking Jacob. Deposits and or payments are non-refundable out of respect of the artist reserving time out of his limited schedule.
